WPLC confirms support for Learning and Development Network
Work Place Learning Centre the learning resources shop provided by Abeceder has confirmed its on-going support for the Yorkshire and the Humber Learning and Development Network.
The Network which is organised by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and National Training Awards (NTA) is chaired by Teresa Cook aims to provide a learning opportunity for both employed and self employed learning and development professionals across the Yorkshire and the Humber region.
The network meeting which are held every two months at a venue provided by a member are split into two halves with the morning dedicated to in-house professionals and the afternoon an open session for both in-house and consultancy based colleagues.
"We are all hoping," said Abeceder managing director Michael Millward, "that the network will support the continuous professional development of training professionals across the region and help those people whether they work in-house or as consultants to contribute to building a well trained workforce that contributes to the economic development of the region."
